How Early

How early is too early for a girl to use an iron? Now, I know 6 is probably too young so she's just flipping and using the Dresden plate tool on the points. BUT she's 7 at the end of the month!

  1. I'm a Gramma but I was a kid. It is never too early to teach a child anything - only too early to let her do it by herself. Too young, too old, too short, too tall, phooey! Set the iron to barely there or turn it off and wait a minute. Just long enough to cool down but still be able to show some results. (Note: Anything you let them do they will be less likely to sneak behind your back to "help".) Although she's probably 10 now and doing very well in the ironing department.
