Beginning Quilting

Are you scared to buy a kit or start a quilt because you've never done it before? Barbara Brauer is prepared to teach you everything you should have learned on your great-grandmother's knee.

BEGINNING QUILT CLASS - Barbara Brauer

4 sessions - Tuesday and Thursday
Jan. 18, 20, 25, 27 10:30-12:30 am
$53.00 plus fabric

This includes a book with plenty of projects to get you comfortable with quilting and using your machine. You will be able to buy anything from the store during that time as well so if you don't have everything you need, don't worry, Barbara can send you in the right direction.

Speaking of learning from the past generation, this is a project my sisters, cousins and I did when we were young. We were all together in Heber with no real TV except "The Price Is Right" and our moms gave us this great project to do. We ranged from ages 14 down to 8 and my younger brother, who always wanted to take part was around 6. It's great to have something tangible to help you remember the fun times as kids.

Dishcloths with iron on images that we learned to cross-stitch and back-stitch on.
