Here is a quilt I helped my cousin make for her new born baby boy. It was my favorite in a book called "Quilts Baby!" which is a super cute book. Lots of modern looking baby blankets. I had to add the eye and run to Seasons of Home in Midway, Utah to get the Minky but now it's ready for the quilter.

Beth, I love this blanket patter ! So cute :) I've always wanted to learn about quilting! I just got my mother-in-law's sewing machine so I'm getting craftier! ...bit by bit :) A blanket like this with a owl (for Paige's baby girl) would be cute too! I'm so excited to be following this blog now!

ReplyDeleteI love this quilt. Its hard to imagine another animal! I would say owls, but they are really all over the place right now.... what about a duck!
ReplyDeleteoh and thanks, I totally have a duck all drawn and blown up to start cutting out tonight. I'm so excited to do it. I'll post it on here when I'm done with the template for the duck. I think it's going to be cute.

I would def. do a lion. My grandsons' nickname is Lion, and he loves anything that has one.
